I managed to set myself in an assertive mindset and looked at what was going on earlier with an unrepressed viewpoint. OMG this guy was totally stroking my ego and trying to manipulate me into letting him do horrible things out of my house and use me as an ATM. I just kept saying no, and he kept trying to manipulate me - condescending compliments, blatant manipulation - and rather than giving in, like I usually do, I stood my ground. He brought somebody to my house and took him upstairs even though I kept telling him not to, haughtily ignoring me. Normally I'd rationalise it internally and fool myself into thinking there was a bit of real friendship with this guy.

Why cant you act aggresive in RL? You are capable. Just pretend RL is a message board and youll be fine. You dont need fair weather friends, or ass holes trying to use you for their own benefit. Stop letting leaches attach to you.

Its good you arent dropping your pants and letting that 'friend' sodomize you. Take the next step. Tell that jerk to fuck off, and stop all communication with him. If he was really your friend, he wouldnt put you in a potentially dangerous situation, manipulate and use you, or have you do things you arent comfortable with.

Two words: Mary Jane.

Dual's weed usage is probably that your average schmoe. Then we have the whole self esteem issue. The interact on each other, chemical placidity claiming the torrid sea of anger, lack of self esteem making him less likely to enact or give voice to his anger when sober.

Alcohol's a downer. It's not going to help you lash out if you don't have any repressed desire to lash out in the first place.
