Futurama refuses to die (Hulu revival)

12.5 - I suspected the girl we'd never seen before was the chat bot all along. Re-using Bender's classic "blackjack and hookers" line just reminds the viewer that they used to come up with classic lines.

(12.6 actually was funny, I was just reacting to the ending.)
 
Seen the stupid coffee one.
 
I just can't bring myself to watch any new ones, because they lost the plot/formula somewhere into the first reboot. Too many topical subjects that don't mesh well with the 31st century, too many stunt/anthology eps,..

This show should also have been #SixSeasonsAndAMovie.
 
I admit the new episodes are nowhere as good as the old ones but I'm no quitter. I'm a completionist and I'll watch no matter how bad the episodes get until I die or the show goes off the air. Same goes with the Simpsons and the start of Season 36 next Sunday.
 
12.9 - Anthology episodes mean they don't have to worry about a plot that makes sense (or even a plot in general) so they're usually a bit funnier than the "normal" episodes (in this era of the show anyway.) There were a few funny bits this week and I luaghed out loud a couple of times (can't remember at what.) The Tintin one was quite good and I like Zoidberg as Snowy making his "whoop whoop" noise when barking. The first and third story felt too similar, maybe. It was okay.
 
12.10 - Finale was probably the strongest episode of the seaosn, though I do wonder if maybe they tried to do too much with the parrallel worlds story and the Fry/Leela stuff not getting as much screentime as needed. But it was funny, so that's good! It is a comedy!
 
I saw the last two, they do endings well.

I guess it will be undone again when it comes back.
 
They should just die at the end of every episode.
 
Season 13 (the whole thing) comes out tomorrow.

13.1 - Remember that 'Anthology of Interest' story about the giant Bender? This is twenty minutes of a giant Bender. Can't remember anything that happened in it.

13.2 - Remember the episode where Bender adopts penguins? And the episode where the garbage meteor is going to destroy the Earth? This is those, combined, but with Fry adopting polar bears and global warming instead. Not memorable.

13.3 - This was actually pretty good! Another "Fry and Leela split up" episode but actually had an orginal story and a I laughed a few times. Ending was a bit rushed though as I'm not exactly sure why Leela decided she liked him again.
