G1228 at EI doesn't ever shut up

She certainly doesn't want anyone confusing her for a "Jew."

Hmmmmmmm.... la, de, da, de, da, de, da ... I don't troll but occasionally I stroll around the block and hum my merry tunes to myself to block out the noise of the people on the planet that wouldn't be here if it were up to me but it isn't so the humming provides a nice distraction until I get back home and into my little room where the worst thing that can happen to me is someone misspell my name and someone else thinks I might be Japanese instead of Irish/French/English/Armenian, which is why I am fair with bright green eyes and curly hair and my father was darker than any high yellow born person. Call me caucasian, for I truly am as Armenia is on the Asian continent next to the Caucus mountains. Mistake me for a Jew, I don't care, for they have holidays and eat lots of food. But, god forbid, do not mistake me for a U-boat for although I swim I carry no load.

Okay. The moment has passed.

She's also the one that whined in AQG because no one reading and commenting on whatever it is she wrote in the Fiction sections. She posted a long farewell, saying she was through with EI, or some such.

Truth is, I dismissed her then as a nut case. Any writer that has the nerve and temerity to complain because people don't read their stuff, doesn't understand the relationship between writer and reader. Just because a writer puts words to a page doesn't mean the masses are compelled to read it-let alone like it enough to comment.

In any event, this should be interesting...
I remember that.

Well, to be honest I can understand where she's coming from there. I write Andromeda fanfic, specifically Beka fic and no one gives a rats ass about it. Harper fic is all anyone cares about it seems like. And I have whined about it.

No one is obligated to give you feedback, sure but it sure hurts like hell when you don't get it.

I would like a donut. Somebody brought donuts to work today but they weren't the good kind. I mean, if I'm gonna kill myself with junk food, it is going to be preemo junk food. Give me a chocolate filled chocolate donut with chocolate frosting and a carton of chocolate milk or keep the fried sugar off my desk.

OMG. She is so lucky she is not my child. She'd be on her knees scrubbing baseboards with a toothbrush for at least a month.

Cait, have I told you how much I love you lately? :bigass:

I really need to stop reading those threads.

Actually, from what I've been able to ascertain gsmonks is a he.

Looks as though I'm not the only one that confuses people. ;)

I agree, it is heartbreaking when something you write is ignored or you don't get any feedback.

But [call me crazy] I just find it offensive when an author whines about it the way s/he [whatever gender that user is]. S/he was ready to leave the damn site over it. That's childish. Not only that, it is unprofessional in my opinion.
