It was a good season opener. Obviously setting stuff up for the rest of the season but it didn't feel as uneventful as some season openers.
I guess Arya learned how to change her body shape and voice at some point too? Probably best not to think about it too much! I'm glad Ed Sheeran didn't try to rape her and they just had a nice meal instead.
The Hound got good character stuff.
Jon should learn to like talk over all his decisions with his closest advisers first instead of debeating in front of all his subjects.
Sam in Old Town was a bit Harry Potter but with more shitty bed pans.
Euron seemed to have a bit more pesonality here after being disappointing last season (but the crazy book version is better sorry.)
Dany walking through Dragonstone for five minutes trying to act was easily the worst scene.

It was a good first episode that made me wish they just dumped the whole season on us because the runtime isn't long enough for any significant progress.

Yeah it was your basic Game of Thrones season opener, which is that it just said "Here's where all the characters are at the moment" and then ended.
BUT at least the characters were doing pretty interesting things with good acting and I liked that Sansa doesn't seem to be taking Littlefinger's shit so really that's great.
