Something tells me you watched a Godzilla film recently.
 
Two, in fact. Both Gamera films. I have a penchant for Sandy Frank movies. Comes from growing up in Korea.

No, I went to an international school where everyone spoke english. So I lucked out while I was there, but I don't have a cool extra language under my belt. Great place to be, though. Also a great place to learn martial arts.

I've never seen a Godzilla movie in my life...except for the fake Mathew Boderick one.
 
That godzilla movie was kinda bad. I was sad that Hank Azaria decided to be a part of that project.

Meh. Plot-hole city. Lots of plausibility inconsistancies. Made my brain hurt, that film did. Not unlike the feeling I got from Armageddon.
 
I happen to love that film. As far as taking a break from heady films and just settling for that action stuff. It was of slightly higher quality than other films of the same genre.
 
I remember the Godzilla babies being a rip-off of the raptors from Jurassic Park.

All I know about Godzilla I know from seeing the original movie and from this autistic kid that used to run around my school shouting about Gamera and Mecha-Godzilla and stuff.

I'm a bit of a movie snob. Although I love crappy movies. Thus the paradox. Modern movies that COULD be good and then aren't are the ones I can't get behind. Like Alien Vs. Predator.
 
Personally, I don't really care, as long as I enjoy a movie, but I do have a snobbish soft spot for neorealistic Italian films.

AVP sucked major donkey cock, though, yes.
 
I like the Star Wars prequels AND I WILL NEVER CHANGE MY MIND ON THIS ISSUE.
