Haven't seen it yet, but judging from the trailer - yeah, vibe's completely different. That's the "usual" JD I am seeing there, but I'll reserve judgment for after I've watched the film. Fake ScarJo ISN'T BAD INDEED!

Yeah, that's kinda one element of my definition of equality. It's not about remaining on equal footing all the time, but allowing the power to flow back and forth, depending on situation, impulse, type of game. I'll let you handle me one time if you allow me to handle you next. Or something like that.
Pathological is too strong a word for me to agree on, but I know what you mean. If anything, it gets boring pretty soon, at least in my experience. But, as I said - I am neither very dominant nor notedly submissive, so what do I know about these things, after all.
