I still wish they had more episodes per seasons or longer episodes, because some characters always end up lack in screentime. I did appreciate that Jenny (and Melrose) got a big moment in the desert episode (which might have been the best episode of the season) but then they didn't do anything else all season. So much of Ruth's screentime was spent on her feelings for Sam that she felt kind of lost as a character by the end (but maybe that was the idea?) The finale felt a bit weird with about half of it being the Christmas Carol thing. Yeah it was entertaining but I didn't see how it related to the rest of season, it just seemed to be in there because they've done similar things like the wedding episode, but the wedding episode was important to the overall plot. I understand why there were fewer wrestling scenes this season: they're doing the same show every night so there's not much point in showing them. But the wrestling scenes are always DAMN GOOD which I think was proven by the episode where they all swapped personalities being the other contender for the best of the season.
Are we supposed to think Carmen invented The Undertaker character then Vince McMahon stole it four years later!?!?!?!?!?
Sheila probably get the best character development of everyone.
I liked when entertainers kept getting Bash to hire them by just juggling in front of him in lifts and stuff.
Yeah, I was really liking him up to that point and it didn't seem natural. I guess they didn't want to spend much time building the character if they were planning to ditch him.
And it was extra weird because in the previous episode they showed him supported the gay club (which a lot of middle aged businessmen probably woudln't have done in the eighties) so you thought he was a nice guy.
Maybe something changed between that episode and the finale, like they think they're getting another season and BAM we don't need Tex, we need Debbie to be the president!
