Grant Gustin as The Flash

Only a real SUPER NERD could possibly understand "E=MC Hammer" apparently.

Were we supposed to know who "Mick" was at the end?

He should have seduced Iris on the roof and told her "don't worry, it's not cheating on your boyfriend if I keep my mask on."

The ending must have been another comic book reference I guess since to me it was just "oh, a gorilla."

The gorilla is Grodd Gorilla Grodd - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gorilla Grodd is a hyper-intelligent telepathic gorilla with the power to control the minds of others. At one time, he was nothing more than an average ape, but after an alien spacecraft (retconned from a radioactive meteor, the same one that empowered Hector Hammond) crashes in his African home, Grodd and his troupe are imbued with super intelligence by the ship's pilot. Grodd and fellow gorilla Solovar also develop telepathic and telekinetic powers. Taking the alien as their leader, the gorillas construct a super advanced home named Gorilla City. The gorillas live in peace until their home is discovered by prying explorers. Grodd forces one of the explorers to kill the alien and takes over Gorilla City, planning to conquer the world next. Solovar telepathically contacts Barry Allen to warn him of the evil gorilla's plans, and Grodd is defeated.

lol gorilla aliens! I suppose they're not going to make Grodd an alien on the tv show. I DIDN'T EVEN READ THAT RIGHT, he's not an alien, he was attacked by a catball.

I AM STILL CONFUSED ABOUT DR WELLS :rwmad: I know he's kind of evil, but is he evil evil, or just a little evil? WILL WE EVER FIND OUT? I bet he's the one who killed Barry's mom.

The Flash vs Arrow was funny and kinda BAD. The fight scenes were terrible and goofy. AND ALSO Oliver is still FUCKING ANNOYING FUCK.

Mark Hamill Will Reprise His Role As The Trickster For THE FLASH | Badass Digest

HitFix has learned that Mark Hamill - who played The Trickster on the 1990-1991 CBS The Flash series, starring current Flash's dad John Wesley Shipp - will reprise the role on the 17th episode this season! Here's a little bit about the new version of the character he'll be playing:

Mark Hamill returns in a brand new interpretation of James Jesse (aka The Trickster), a role he originated on the 90's 'Flash' series. In this new iteration, The Trickster is an anarchist terrorist con man serving a life sentence in Iron Heights who helps Barry (Grant Gustin) and Det. West (Jesse L. Martin) to foil the city-wide attacks of a wannabe Trickster eagerly following in the original's deadly footsteps. The episode will reunite him with John Wesley Shipp who went up against him as the original 'Flash' on the CBS version.

This is very cool news, and a guest appearance from Hamill can only bring some Star Wars magic to The Flash's (already great for CW) ratings. But you know what would be a lot cooler? Is if he reprised this completely hilarious outfit.

So the ending pretty much spells out that Wells is Reverse Flash...OR IS HE? Why have the bit where Reverse Flash looks at Eddie then lets him live? I remember in the first episode thinking Eddie seemed like kind of a dick and would turn out to be a villain. Then after that he just seemed like a normal guy, but he's obviously connected to Reverse Flash in some way so maybe it's actually him? Or he's Wells' dad (which means he ends up with someone other than Iris.) But if Wells is from the future why was he living with a woman in the past and oh we'll just have to watch to find out, innit.

Eddie seems the smart choice, he already has anti Flash feelings, and those will only get worse if Iris breaks up with him for Barry, especially when he works out who the flash is, which lets face it, he wouldn't be a very good detective if he didn't.

I have heard someone speculate that Eddie is a younger version of Wells, and maybe if Eddie became the reverse flash and ran back to the past to kill Barry's mum, maybe got trapped there, add another twenty years to Eddie he would be about Wells age right?

Well the actor's twenty years older so yeah...but I don't think someone's appearance would change that much in twenty years (unless he had super villain surgery.)

The Flash: Spartacus Star Liam McIntyre Will Play Weather Wizard - IGN

Joining fellow Spartacus vets who've transitioned over to the Flash/Arrow-verse - like Manu Bennett (Slade/Deathstroke), Katrina Law (Nyssa al Ghul,) Cynthia Addai-Robinson (Amanda Waller), and Nick Tarabay (Captain Boomerang) - is Spartacus himself, Liam McIntyre.

ComicBook.com is reporting that McIntyre will be playing famous DC villain Mark Mardon, the Weather Wizard, on The Flash.

IGN confirmed the news with The CW, along with the fact that McIntyre will first appear in episode #115. He'll also continue on into episode #116, which is called "Rogue Time."

Here’s the official character description (which answers the question many had about whether or not the villain in the pilot was supposed to be Weather Wizard):

"Mark Mardon, brother to Clyde Mardon, returns to Central City to get justice for his brother's untimely death. Mark uses his powers, similar to Clyde's ability to control the weather, to go on a rampage to find the man that shot Clyde...Joe West."
