Greatest song ever

Hambil

I AM A GOLDEN GOD
First, we need nominations, then we can narrow it down with votes. I'll start with two nominations:

Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley
Imagine - John Lennon

I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel To Be Free - Mary Travers

Well allow me to be shocking and controversial.

Billie Jean: Michael Jackson

Muh Nah Muh Nah by The Muppets

Anyone who says differently is Hitler!?!?!

How could I forget Rainbow Connection by Kermit the Frog!?

"Know Your Rights", teh Clash

Why not?

So hard to choose...

"Bridge over Troubled Water" - Simon & Garfunkel
"Bohemian Rhapsody" - Queen
"Stairway to Heaven" - Led Zepplin

Ribbons in the Sky-Stevie Wonder

Duh. The greatest song in the world is, obviously, The Greatest Song in the World (Tribute) by the incredible Tenacious D!

"The Galaxy Song" by the Pythoneers, naturally.

The song in my sig

I love the poop- the poop squad

"Town Called Malice" - The Jam

The Pleasant Pheasant - Billy Cobham

Holiday in Cambodia-Dead Kennedys

You are all wrong. So very wrong. The greatest song of all time is, of course, "Radar Love" from Golden Earring. And now you know. Carry on.

hmmmm...don't see any repeats so far.

greatest song EVER?
hafta think on it.

Personally, there is no way I could ever narrow it down to just one. Not ever never.

Hell, depending on mood, desire, timing, opportunity, association, romantic notion, etc., they're ALL the greatest at one time or another.

Well, the song is breathtakingly beautiful, and I love lyrics - which don't get much better than this:

Well I heard there was a secret chord
that David played and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do ya?
Well it goes like this:
The fourth, the fifth, the minor fall and the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah

Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah

Not bad, Hambil.

There is only one song worthy of being called the "greatest", however.
Actually, when you think about it, there is really only one song worthy of note in the whole universe. The universe itself.

Uni = One
Verse = Music

And we're all a part of it.

I like to think I'm in the percussion area somewhere.
