Happy Weekend TKers

Walmart cashier? It's money until you can get yourself situated. What did you do before the recession.

Stupidly quit a good paying job at Price Chopper and got fired from a good paying job with the NYS Dept of Tax and Finance. Worked for Rochester Walmart in '06 in failed attempt to get a life. Kicked out of brother's and his girlfriend's apartment 6 months later. Worked for a market research firm that did customer satisfaction surveys for Verizon. 3 years later, moved back home due to low paying job and financial mismanagement. 3 years later still here at home...jobless.

Well, Lok, I know of one sure fire cure: Marry a GOOD woman. She will whip you into shape, get you out of the doldrums, encourage you to not only want to be a better man, but want to get a job, even a low paying one just to start. She will coach you, guide you, make you feel smarter, braver and be well-loved.

It is a mighty thing that happens when you find the right GOOD woman. Don't settle for anything less.

I'm going to leave that alone, Loktar. All I hear you saying is you don't want to do the jobs that are available and you can't or won't go where there are better choices.

Not true. I wanted to interview for a part-time job at Target. It was an hour and a half away and I most likely would have got it. They were desperate for workers for the upcoming holiday season. My mom guilted me out of going for it by saying "Its up to you, but I won't take a part-time job that far away" "If you're going to go for part-time, find a job closer to here like your old place of employment the Bennington, VT Price Chopper." I think she is afraid of being alone with my Dad(anti-empty nest). She even said to me "Even if you find a full time job, you're more than welcome to stay here." When I said "Well I'm almost 40 I need to move out if I'm going to find a girlfriend/wife." She said "Well do what you want but I lived at home with my parents until I got married at 34." So long story short she's a lonely old woman afraid to share an empty nest with my father and I'm a lazy, unambitious, 39 year old loser and mama's boy and we are forever bound in an enabling cycle I see no hope of ever breaking with my limited/no cash flow.

Shut up already. This fucking broken record's so played it skips. If this is your idea of trolling it's done. Otherwise go get a fucking job and shut the fuck up about not being able to get one.

You're being a spoiled little child about it. Doesn't change the way I feel about you personally, just fed up with the repetitive song and dance.

Grow the fuck up, you're almost forty for gods sake.

Not trolling, venting. I'll post my stuff down in Daycare with fellow life loser Cory from now on. Sorry.

You can vent all you like. I'm in an extremely hostile mood today so I'm venting too. I stick up for you all the time with just about everything. afaik, Ive always got your back. Just shouldn't even be posting today, so I'm going for a nice walk in the woods.

Enjoy your walk(think I'll dress up later to ease my tensions if privacy permits). We're all good.

Much better thanks. We went up to the new Stowe Land trust area where they just cleared out some trails and hiked up to the pinnacle of the path. Great views and we had a nice little picnic at the knoll.

Sorry to snap at you. You're a good guy.
