I thought it was another 2-hour Hell's Kitchen last night, but the first hour was just a repeat of last week's second hour. No biggie.
Last night's episode was GREAT!! Boy, can things change in a week! I was pulling for Heather after last week, she seemed like the real deal. However, this week's episode revealed her as little more than a bossy, whiny, bitch. I mean, she's near tears when her team isn't doing so good, and she's acting like Head Chef, then when they manage to win a challenge, she and the rest of the women act totally low-class and flaunt it in the men's faces.
But it was Heather's reaction to Garrett's "make me some dinner" line that sealed the deal. She acts all tough and indignant when she's talking to the women, then she softens her approach when actually confronting Garrett. If I were Garrett, in all honesty, I'd be like, "Unless you're coming in here with my dinner, get out of my room, little girl." Damn, THAT would've set her off, and thrown her off her game. If you're gonna rub my face in it, I'm gonna give it right back to you. Sadly, Garrett wussed out.
The dismissal of Giacomo was no surprise. When he flat-out-lied to Chef Ramsay about the duck, I knew his hours were numbered. Tom seems like a real asshole, though, and I can't wait to see his smug, fat ass booted.
GREAT SHOW!! I can't remember the last time a summer series had me riveted like this, and I certainly never felt this way about a reality show, except maybe the first Survivor.
