As I said. If it appears that you have tried your best and they keep being unreasonable, it will be clear to all and sundry who is in the wrong. Including reasonable people, and that is your target audience.

My question is, given the atmosphere, why would you want to post there? It would seem to me that you would always have to be cautious and wary.

I'm assuming, as I rarely if ever post there. Nothing against them and never had issues with them, I just have limited time and lots of places competing for that small piece of time, so some have to go.
 
Well one reason is that some people that I know and love post there exclusively. If I want to banter with ET or any number of others I have to go there. There just isn't another option. They don't and probably won't post here either due to time constraints or due to the bad reputation that seems to stick to you once you do. (the folks at ei will never look at you the same) :P

The ONLY reason to want to be a part of any message board is the people.

A secondary reason, admittedly, is the fight for what's right. If I do get warned or unjustly banned then I really do enjoy the conflict that arises from those ashes. I'll admit to it handily... now if only the folks at EI can admit to becoming rather trigger happy and paranoid... ;)

The fight can be had on any board so that's not why I am interested in EI specifically...

So I guess it can just be boiled down to certain people that I want to hang with.

They're waiting for the poll to close so they can place the new guidelines into full effect, and use it against you in their ruling. That's my conspiracy theory for today. :)

Well I would like to get in there and vote on those guidelines already... assuming I am going to be allowed to be a member on the board I think I should get a vote on the crap you all are trying to get to stick to the wall this time. ;)

Other than that I think you all are seriously dragging your feet here...

You ban people at the drop of a hat, (from my perspective, I can't read your private forum) you'd think you could be a little more attentive when it comes to undoing your wrongdoings.

All because you all couldn't ask a simple question.

Not intentionally, but there are other issues at the moment that are, as A Karas suggested leaving me somewhat more high strung than usual

And that's the problem with lack of perspective. You weren't suspended at the drop of any hat, obviously I have no way of proving that to you, but I find i'm content with knowing for myself that it's true.

All because you all couldn't ask a simple question.

It wasn't on me when you were all debating this behind closed doors without bothering to consult the one with all the answers.

It was all you guys. You fucked up. Admit it and we can all live happier lives. ;)
 
I also find myself wondering...

It took a week worth of Orph snooping and debate in the secret room to come to the decision to ban me correct?

So why the stealth ban?

Why just announce it and ban me immediately upon reaching your faulty conclusions?

You had already let me do my thing for an entire week in which I had only very minor disputes with the staff and never tried to log into my "dual"...

So why, when you'd been deliberating all that time, would it be necessary to ban me without first notifying me through a pm, e-mail or the board itself?

Did I behave like someone with a ticking timebomb under my raincoat, ready to go off if I wasn't taken down SWAT style?

Secret planning, then a sudden and swift ban.

You'd think I was hacking the board or something instead of carrying on debates in the OT and trying to peacefully hang out on the beach. Hell, even my posts in the gripe section were small and infrequent.

You people are impossible to please.
