Hey, Rommie...

I invited him once, because I thought he'd really fit in. However, he politely declined.

One thing about online personas, as mentioned above: he may be really nice in RL but see the net as a way to blow off steam. Truth: I'm a nice guy IRL because it's easier that way...especially in my line of work. It's on the net that I can release the flaming asshole side of my personality and work off frustrations. Maybe G sees it the same way.

Or maybe he's having a nervous breakdown.

That's a good point, actually. Most people think I'm pretty shy in RL... ;)

That was an incomprehensible post on G's part. Did you guys ever think you may have sent G around the bend? Why is he so angry at nothing?

I don't know what is going on in G's personal life. I do know he thinks he is protecting EI. He's doing more harm than good, and he just doesn't get it. I've PM'ed him many times, trying to advise him on backing off, but he just doesn't listen.

Hitler was protecting the sanctity of the Arian Nation in WWII. That didn't turn out so well, did it?

There's a real life? :bigass: Just kidding. I dunno, I try to be the same person online and in RL. It's a lot easier to talk to folks online though.

Yes and no. It is pretty incomprehensible, but earlier in the thread he said "Thank God" ... "It means I'm happy RommieSG is no longer on staff" or something to that effect. That was perfectly clear.

Yes, this was specifically related to me. Possibly due to the comments I made about him in the thread that speculated that Rov sold EI to him.

My comments about him, have nothing to do with the way I moderated. And to be perfectly honest, I made those comments AFTER I had resigned. So it was nothing more than a personal attack.

And if he wants some.......come get some. You don't like me.........fuck off.

So did Hitler. ;)

Yep. ;)

And, you are very correct. What you did as moderator, and whatever you may or may not have said about G anywhere has nothing to do with your job on the staff. Just does not compute.

I think it needed to be closed, as Orph said it wasn't doing any one any good.

Rommie already knows he is a good mod, and an all round great guy.

and G? He knows, even if he won't admit it, what he is.

And instead of standing on your feet, Rommie, lets just sit and chat, easier on both of us. LOL

And I thanked Orpheus for doing it.

Now G either puts up, or shuts up.

*shrug* I didn't object to it because I thought he was getting what he deserved... But I suppose it is best in the long-run.

In the words of Peter Griffin,

"Well, while I may not agree with what you say, I'll defend to the death your right to say it."
