Yeah, Elwood pretty much has to sell by now - I don't think he has the necessary trust among the members anymore. I don't think it's anything personal either - he still has plenty of supporters among what Crosis called the "good old boys" but I doubt that's gonna be enough.
Maybe it will be but then you have to ask yourself whether that's really the kind of board you want to have.

And really it's not the kind I want.

I always thought I'd be a good owner because I like everyone on WF just about equally. I enjoyed Storm's presence as much as gul's or Flashlight's or anyone else. I don't see how banning people outright makes for a good board dynamic.

Were I to become the owner, the first thing I'd do is lift all bans. CM? Back in. Goldeneye? Back in. Zodiac, Storm, and Gul? All back in. Polarslam?...BACK IN, BABY!

Why? because what makes WF fun, for me at least, are the diverse personalities that populate it, even the ones that only seem to exist for stupidity's sake. I wouldn't ban anyone unless they were doing something illegal, continuously harassing a member in a Ted-like manner, or only there for the sole purpose of trying to destroy the board. Which even Zodiac wasn't doing.

What's Elwood's leaving at WF is his closest buds and the people who don't care enough about it to leave.

But I guess we'll see how it all shapes up. If he does offer to sell it, I'll be the first one to make an offer.

I just tend to think that with a new owner, everyone ought to get a clean slate and a chance to prove themselves.

I'd like to state that I'm not banned, but asked for my Zodiac account to be locked. I began posting as Chatacranny with that account later locked for being a 'sleeper dual'. If I want to come back I should e-mail Elwood.

Funnily enough, after days of accusing me of being Zodiac they only did something about it when Elwood's massive shadow loomed over the board and he delivered his faux Galactus judgement.

I don't care for the way they're using their own red tape to make me jump through hoops. None of them bothered to warn me in any way, so I'm left believing getting rid of me was more important than resolving the issue of a locked account (Person. Locked person.) posting with a dual.

The list of people Elwood will sell to is a short one.

Those who desire to force him to sell the board should watch what they ask for...
