I went for Christopher Reeve. I can't pass proper opinions on Routh, because I haven't seen Superman Returns yet, nor really George Reeve, as I have only seen clips of the original Superman series. The problem with that, is also passage of time. From what I have seen of those original episodes, it is obviously very dated, and sorely missing the point in this era.
