I Answer All Questions About LOST

Something that occured to me: why the fuck would the Others put an implant in Claire to make her sick at will? Why? What use would that be?

Did Ben just bullshit Juliet and she fell for it?

Remember Sawyer's "implant?"

^Yeah, I thought that premise was a bit over the top...yeah:
" ...anticipating that one day we'd need to make Claire sick, so we could pretend to help, we planted a device that we could activate at any time.."

Wait - I understood that Ben never told an outight lie?
And who was it exactly again who told Sawyer about the implant?
(I can remember the scene where he's trying to keep his heartbeat down, but I can't visualize the Other who told him about the implant, but IIRC, was it not Ben?)

Is that yacht that was discovered with three dinners on the table and no crew actually the latest extension of Lost's online mystery?

I've stickied this thread, btw. Probably should have done ages ago. It's the best thing going for the TK Media Center of late.

Why did last night's episode suck so bad?

With the exceptions of:

1. showing the secret room in the Staff... where all the bunker's equipment was hidden and thus explaining that mystery

2. see Mikheil alive again... and I can't wait to hear the explanation on that one... since I like him

3. and the big reveal at the end

That episode pretty much sucked, yeah. But then, I've yet to see a Jin/Sun episode that was really any good.

Russian Spetznaz vs. Korean mob enforcer.

Mikheil didn't stand a chance.

Oh, and Jin was using Taekwondo, no Kung Fu. KF is Chinese. ;)

PURGATORY!!!

Errr, okay, probably not. Interesting twist of sorts, though.

Glad to see Microwaved Patchy is back and alive, but I have no idea how he managed to survive being microwaved.

It's pretty obvious that Kate is knocked up as well.

I take it from the previews that Locke is coming back to get Sawyer to kill Daddy/Anthony Cooper/The Real Sawyer/Roy DeSoto from "Emergency". The minor plotlines I've read for the rest of the season's episodes sound pretty intense.

Oh, and since I don't think I commented on last week's episode, it would have been cool if Desmond had pulled the helmet off the parachutist chick and it had been Michael screaming "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLTTTT!!!111111".

I don't think the cliffhangery revelation means purgatory, but that's probably what we're meant to think for a week.

Maybe the government or the various companies related to the island faked finding the plane and the bodies so no one would search for them, find the island , etc.

There are a few possible explanations for her statement:

1. The alternate timeline theory. Desmond's cockups with the Swan hatch may have caused alternate timelines and he's aware of them to some degree. In an alternate timeline, the plane crashed somewhere else and everyone died. I'm not too hep on that one.

2. "Jacob" and the Others somehow persuaded the media and/or the search authority to report the plane as found with no survivors. This is possible, but I'd be really disappointed if it turned out to be the case.

3. The third one, and the most likely IMO, is that someone found the fuselage after it washed out to sea in S1 with all those burned bodies.

But I'm sure the producers have something else in mind.
