I did play some Zelda, yes. Nice to see Ruto from Ocarina all grown up...and dead. If this means Twilight exists in the same timeline as Ocarina, how does Wind Waker fit in? It had continuity reference to Ocarina too. CONFUSING.
 
I think it's before Wind Waker in the timeline. Maybe it's shortly after Ocarina.
 
There is no offical timeline for Zelda. Shigeru Miyamoto said that Ocarina of Time is the first story though and Majora's came after that of course. We know that Wind Waker happens a long, long time after OOT and MM but we don't really know much else. Nintendo are not very forthcoming and Myamato has never supported his stuff on the timeline since.


There are some cool theories out there though.

I should make up some outrageous timeline and post it at Nintendo forums.. the Zelda fanatics would rip me to shreds if they could get their sweaty little paws on me.
 
FUN to come up with theories, EXCITING.

None of the timeline theories explain why the geography of Hyrule changes in every game.

Remember in Ocarina you could stand on top of the drawbridge as it rose at night and you got rupees?
 
Remember in Ocarina when you went round the left hand side of the castle at night and Zelda was being raped by Talon?
