I've changed my status from being in love to having a fuck buddy 4 life. Its less complicated that way.
 
Less complicated perhaps, but just try growing old with a fuck-buddy, or confiding in them intimately. Granted, there was a movie that showed how sweetly that would actually work, but they were both married to others and got together every ten years or so

I would still rather have a fuck buddy than a pal that fucks you in the end. I have lots of people I confide in, and my fuck buddy is a pretty close friend as well. We have to be honest with each other when we aren't all cheery otherwise the fucking isn't as great.
I am making it sound crass on purpose. I am just not that into the whole "love" thing right now, can you tell?

LC, why would preferring to have a fuck-buddy equal being bitter? It's not like we can actually decide to find the love of our life, is it? You either feel it, or you don't. Waiting for it to happen and in the meantime denying yourself sex and fun and stuff only to realize 30 years from now that you've spent your time alone in vain - now that would be a reason to become bitter.
