I can never find the right words, so I'll just offer some thoughts.
 
God bless you and your family Neon and God bless your nephew for his brave and honorable sacrifice. My heart is with you.
 
Though I don't know you or him my heart truly goes out to you.
 
I'm always moved by the willingness of people in service to lay down their lives in the course of duty. They go into service knowing this, and go willingly, proud to be of service to their country.

Servicewise I hope I'm not sounding disrespectfull when I say that I think the percentage of young folks who enlist hoping to die in service for their country is fucking insanely low perhaps zero percent.

You're pretty much right. Additionally, most military training concerns staying alive...not how to die gloriously.

Thank you, everyone. Taylor died so we can all Speak Freely. Right now, I feel like doing anything but. The price was too high, but Taylor paid that price.
