I almost bought the blu-ray, but didn't...it is a good movie though, seen it in the theater back in the 90's & I teared up a wee bit. :(

I want to find a guy I can make mushy clay things with.

I nearly watched it myself the other night, but I have a physical aversion to Whoopi Goldberg.

I loved Whoopi back then, so I think it is legal to enjoy Ghost. She wears funny shoes now.
 
The director's cut has the Whoopi shower scenes.
 
The powerhouse performance by Trek's finest actress was certainly one of the highlights. And that guy in the subway.

This movie, along with Sister Act (just the first one), and sometimes Dirty Dancing, was on TV in my house nearly constantly during the early 90's. Aside from Nintendo, IT DEFINED MY ENTIRE CHILDHOOD. Whoopi was a god then. If Patrick Swayze had been cast as Captain Picard, my parents would have been hardcore trekkers.

Ghost is a great movie, everyone should like it.

I am too fucking sad that Swayze is gone. I can't watch it. But I too was a Whoopi fan. I also liked Bobcat, I think he was in a movie with Whoopi.
