I didnt mean wifi, i ment teh simple USB connection from HD to TV, browsing, watching/playing DL's etc.

Unless ur a hardcore fanboi, most pple want to be able to use their media on multiple devices without having to reconfigure/convert or basically fuck around.
All of this is of course aside form the HD/blue ray war.
Blue ray is HD, just with huge data capabilities, of course it was going to trump simple HD.
Standard HD was a bridge and a profit opportunity, that would have done better if Sony didn't release teh PS3 when they did, and for the price.

Yes dl's will have their place, but in the meantime blue-ray has the cake, and jobs is hallucinating if he thinks his lil apple tv is going to make much of an impact outside apple-fanz.
The ipod is pain in the arse, and teh A-TV works along the same lines; u need all apple shit, or u have to spend time converting teh files and paying for them again just to play elsewhere...leik teh car.
This attitude is greedy and ridiculous, and personally I would prefer to torrent or rip/burn CD's at least then I can use it in whatever way I choose, mobile, car, mp3 playerz, dvd, ps, pc whatever.
