Yeah, six might be a little young to fiddle w/ knives. Although - a smart person once told me that sometimes it's better to teach them the proper handling and dangers before their fascination with all things deadly kicks in bigtime and they start exploring stuff unsupervised. Then again - I am allowing my underage niece to smoke to her heart's content, so I might not be the best advisor in any case, lol!
