Find a clique that espouses a specific POV, then come wading in, expressing your support. After the backpatting subsides, begin endorsing said POV with zealous, malignant idiocy until your new “allies” are forced to either turn on you, distance themselves from you, or try to shut you up.
Already covered, and in this very thread, I might add. We call it "The Uncouth Yes-Man."

Join a forum that may have seen its share of trolls in the past and be fully straight-up. No bullshit. All you, but cautious on the PI.
Some zealous troll hunter is bound to assume that you’re a troll who is trying too hard not to look like a troll. He will attempt and may succeed at convincing others to join the hunt. The hunter will ironically and obsessively troll the shit out you of in order to prove that you are not what you claim, until it becomes disturbingly amusing. Keep feeding the troll (hunter) with truth whenever challenged; gentle spoon-feed, force-feed, dance-it-to-the-mouth feed… When the cycle becomes too stale for words, stop the feed or consider creating a lie to match the troll hunter’s perceived truth. YMMV.
