Listkeeper a liar?

guldulac

I'm not wearing any panties!!
Listy's putting a lot of effort into smearing faisant as the leak. Now, we should dismiss this out of hand -- Listkeeper's a cocksucker, if he says something and says it often, it is almost certainly a lie.

Setting aside Bear's histrionics, why do I know it wasn't faisant? Quite simply, he was booted from A-51 before the leak investigation started. His crime was being my friend. If he leaked something, though, it wasn't to me, and they magically found out about it before my PM box was read by Elwood.

However, if you aren't persuaded, allow me to dissect the case of the leak.

As elwood stated, the leak was discovered by reading PM boxes during the stormgate investigation. That means information about the leak was in Listkeeper's, Storm's, or my PM box (or possibly a combination). I can't speak for the others, but there was indeed evidence in my PM box. Poster A sent me a PM indicating that Staff B was feeding him information. No specifics, least none interesting enough for me to recall, but the assertion was made. Staff B, by the way, is not Faisent.

Elwood read this message, realized he had a problem, but also realized that he had no direct evidence, just hearsay. So he sets the sting -- gets other staff to offer their PM box, eventually the guilty party has to offer up the same, hoping that Elwood will just look the other way once he sees there was nothing of interest leaked.

Now, I leave you to connect the dots, my only interest is in clearing Faisent of the lies Listkeeper is spreading.

This person sought me out and gave me permission to read their PMs after several other staff members stepped forward when I commented that the only way to confirm a leak was to read PMs. You must note that I did not ask, nor did I demand that the staff give their permission. These people volunteered their permission without even the slightest hint of coercion.
So... out of know where, Elwood mentions a possible leak, with the only way of confirming it being to read PMs. The staff steps forward and by pure chance, a leak is found? :chris:

Well that explains this:

RJHJ: Faisent left as well.

BearTM agrees: "Left"

Wondered what the qoutes meant. So in other words Staff Bear is the leaker to Storm.

;)

He learned of the leak by reading my PM box, but since it was only hearsay, he needed more evidence, which he sought by announcing the leak.

Would you be willing to name names? Any you could, that is.
Not really. I don't think the person in question leaked with malicious intent. That's certainly not my impression, so I see no point in a public flogging. I simply couldn't abide by the latest of listkeeper's character assassinations (ass is in that word two times).

What you know very well is that Faisent told Elwood to read his PMs to cover his ass, not knowing they would be in the database after he deleted them.

I know very well that faisant was out of A-51 before Elwood read the PMs, so try again.

Witch Hunt Number One took off like a lead balloon, so begins Witch Hunt Number Two (aptly named).

What they don't realize is their word is no longer unquestioned, as it was in the past.

Not even the word of formerly untouchable (except for CheekyMonkey ;) ) Elwood.

That has nothing to do with it.

Faisent said he shouldn't have access when discussion of a possible mole came up and it was removed and then afterwards Faisent send Elwood a message to feel free to check his PMs because he was innocent. He either thought offering would get him off the hook or that deleting his inbox would protect him...of course it didn't...and you know this already because he told you.

But, since the extent of the leak is not known at this time, it would be unfair to release their name for public ridicule.
Aren't you burning your admin bridge by fingering faisent, Tamar?

Nope, he told me no such thing. Do you really want me to name Poster B?

Care.....care....trying to summon up some....nope, can't be arsed.

Besides, it's not supposed to matter what is said at TK, right?

Was faisent punished? Listy said this

No, Alphaman still has his rank pips. The leak would have none, being lower than even the worst troll...

and faisent's last post shows that all of his pips are gone, he doesn't even have the regular two green ones that everyone else has.

Fiasent was booted from A-51 before Storm tried to troll me with personal information, that is to say, before Elwood discovered the leak, which he acknowledges was discovered by reading PM boxes after Storm's troll blew up in his face. That means he cannot be the leak.

Interesting thing about the pips -- same thing happened to Tamar when she resigned, no pips at all. Somebody noticed, so O2C fixed things. I guess nobody noticed about faisent.

Faisient didn't have pips to begin with.

Anyway, if it is Fasient, judging by his posts that are anti-current staff situation, it would seem that he was banned because he so outspoken against team Elwood.
