I'm just wondering if they were so irritated by his contributions to the fire there, that they realeased that thread out of spite.

That, or Bear took another bullet for Elwood to show how, like, they were realeasing everything they had! :roll:
 
Yep. If you make the people around you, especially people in superior positions who have the ability to fire you or get you fired, hate you because you're a grade A asshole then the first chance they get to fire you will be taken.

We all know Listkeeper excels at being an asshole. He probably painted a big fat target on his pasty white fat ass at work and they probably threw a party when they found WF on his computer. :drunkfriends:

"Lesson: Do not surf Wordforge if you have an IT director who is apparently a nosy, vindictive bitch. More importantly, do not demonstrate said director's incompetence on a regular basis."

You just know from that statement he is one of those asshole employees at work that makes management and other employees eyeroll and groan by just hearing his name.

That said it really depends on your company. Most companys are so afraid of being sued that they take a very hard line on computer use.

Oh and the correct lesson is: "Don't fuck with the boss unless you like getting fired." ;)
 
Who are the observers anyway?

I know Bulldog is one and he always supports the administration and is quick to deny the "eliteforge" label. But who are the others.

For all that is ever revealed, Cass might still be the owner. Her role is undefined, yet clearly there.

I think Cass is special status, i.e. no official title, just given the access as she started the board.

Oh, I think Man Afraid of His Shoes is another observer... :idea:
 
Apparently they considered making me one after I quit but they didn't because they thought it would be seen as favoritism...:lol:

If that's all inclusive, then what we really have at this point is two observers -- Shoes and Bulldog. Chuck, Paldin, and Clyde are all mods now, and eccentric no longer posts as eccentric. Did Guilty Gear get observer status?

You know, the observers really ought to have pips of some sort.

The only PMs I delete are ones months out of date because the box has been full...since the last "Diplomacy" game my box hasn't been full (cuz, well I don't really go for board politics...anything I've to say I've always said out in the open).

A couple of other interesting tidbits for right now:

I told Elwood to read my PMs
Then I sent a PM to gul telling him to back off of E, because I was truly worried that gul might be able to push him over the top and leave and I (at least at the time) thought Elwood was the best Owner the board had ever had, and leaving it in your hands would cause it to keel over and die faster than a mayfly.
I've been saying *for months* that 80-90% of the people in A51 didn't need that access, myself included, but am only happy to have been in there to remind you guys of how badly you screw up.


So, first your allegation that I've deleted PMs is a lie, and second your allegation that I betrayed any trust is a lie, unless my acting in Elwood's interest to attempt to get gul off of his back was a betrayal of trust.

As mentioned above, I said I shouldn't have access months ago, along with pretty much everyone else that wasn't there in an "official" capacity.

At the time, you said you wanted me to stick around because I gave you guys an interesting view and didn't hold back when I spoke my mind.

Lies about the deletion again...

And I never considered myself "on the hook" - it wasn't until talking with someone else that it even registered...I've mentioned that there were too many people in A51 numerous times, reiterated that we should be gone since there was a leak investigation, told Elwood to read my PMs, and then sent the "incriminating" one to gul.

Once I talked to another Mod about the subject (omg yet another leak??? WTF is wrong with you people) I realized that Elwood was jumping at ghosts so I told him to lock my account (which he hasn't yet btw...if you want me to go ahead and grab my "incriminating" PMs to gul and post them here)

Of course since I'd been so quick to point out your real and glaring faults which actually have I dunno...evidence...and certainly told gul to keep trolling Listy to his hearts content (which as far as I know isn't revealing any A51 secrets) I can see why the two of you are trying to bring all of this up.

In a nutshell, you both suck as moderators and know it...and if anything WF will be far better off without your influence there, which since the health of WF has always been my goal...I feel like I've accomplished something, how about you?

Thanks Summer...the only thing I did that might be misconstrued was telling gul to lay off Elwood when it wasn't general knowledge that he might be leaving...I did it because I like the board under Elwoods control and respected that, and at the time didn't realize it wasn't common knowledge, I simply don't read enough of the board to be up to date all the time.

Its pretty obvious to me that Tamar is lying through her teeth or that someone lied to her for some reason (which would make me think Elwood, and if so then more the reason for me not to be attached to WF any longer...)
