The title says it all.

I don't care what anyone else thinks about him, but this bothers the hell out of me. He's a good man, who only tries to do what's best.

I hope everything is all right with him personally. This is a shocker.
 
This is nothing but the hard line Staff pushing him out. The man was one voice in a sea of crap on Staff. Hard liners who push hard for their agenda, and the quiet ones who really only want to mod their forums in peace. That left LoP.. looks like he just gave up. Can't blame him really, he's got a real life, and who the hell wants to spend it fighting with hard line moderators.

EI may not realize it, but they just lost the last of whatever integrity they ever had. Kath and LoP had it going on, and the fact that they both resigned shows IMHO just how much the hard liners push to get their way. They run off any good people.

And Yeah [STRIKE]Lisa[/STRIKE] Shal I'm talking about you. You and your lapdogs in the SL.
 
Cait, as much as you'd like to paint me as some sort of power behind the throne, sorry to disappoint you. LoP's resignation was as much a surprize to me as any one.

I'll bet it was a surprise; of that I have no doubt. Doesn't mean you didn't push like you always do to 'get things your way'. I know you Shal. I know you too well, and how you operate. You pushed. You can't help yourself. You pushed on something stupid probably, but you HAVE to have your way, and you push until you get it.

You can sing this tune til the cows come home and the fat lady sings, but I was a WD, and I watched you operate not just once, but twice. I know exactly what you do and how you go about it. You are the single most destructive person on staff.

You crave power and agreement from others. You need validation, and being right is just about the most important thing in your existence. You feel you know the way everyone should be and I've never witnessed anyone so hot to trot when it came to silencing voices *you* thought were a little too loud. You led the charge on a lot of people, and I have no doubt you're in there at it still.

So don't tell me what I should believe and what I shouldn't, I watched you. I watched you single out people and push and push and push. You were the only one I ever had to speak to as a WD. So STFU about how innocent you are and how I don't know what I'm talking about.. because I do know.

Oh you don't cross any lines, I made sure of that when I was in there, and I'm sure you've gotten better at pushing your agenda in the SL without crossing any lines, but you do it--YOU DO IT. No one will ever call you on the carpet, but you have an agenda and I know it.

So bite me. You lying sack of shit.

As to you not being an admin. [Something you should remember when you throw your weight around BTW]. I happen to know you're dying to be one.. Dying to make EI over in your image. I think you actually drool over the prospect. Have you already begun to work on CJ, and the rest? I'll bet you're already lobbying for the job. You see yourself as the only one who can bring EI into the new order.

I'm taking bets right now on who the next admin is..
 
So does this mean I'm getting approved any sooner? I've joined and quit boards in less time than it takes you guys to act...
 
EI has created too many rules for its own good. Anybody who wants to be an admin there has my very best wishes. No wonder LoP didn't last all that long.

and the six months you were a WD- I was a co mod in RP - you have no freaking idea of what I'm like or who I am.

And it's sure as hell isn't going to me as the next admin.

I trusted LoP. He's gone.

LOL, you crack me up. YOU were the Mod pushing [yes even from the RP forum] to have people warned for a pattern of behavior. YOU. You were the one that poked your nose into every other forum and spoke louder and longer than anyone on every single topic. How do I know this? I was there.

You were the one I had to remind on more than a few occasions that unless people had actually broken a guideline they shouldn't be discussed in the SL AT ALL. YOU. YOU were the one that had singled out Lil, Delvo and Ogami as the ones who needed special attention. YOU. You were the one who complained about a few members who skirted the line but never crossed it so YOU could warn them. YOU. You have always been th one leading the parade on "Pattern of behavior".

So you can act all holier than thou, but my job was to watch the staff, and WATCH them I did. I walked away from there knowing exactly which Staff members would always need to be watched too. YOU and Christopher. Christopher is gone, that leaves YOU.

And good luck getting me to shut up on TK. YOU come over here to sing your song and act like you're the good guy over there. YOU are the leader of the worst kind of moderation. The kind that actually believes that it can dictate behavior.

I'm sure you are completely different in your real life. But that's not the person who moderates EI. The person who moderates EI is a self appointed evangelical zealot, who believes she is right and anyone who disagrees with that is wrong.

YOU might not see it. You might not like to admit it, but Shal you are not suited for this kind of work. I'm sure you mean well, but your temperament precludes you making anything but a mess of EI.

As for being made an Admin. Let's all hope the 'Never make Shal an Admin' unwritten rule remains in force. Then I might relax --a little.
