I finally finished watching this. I started a few weeks ago but didn't really feel like watching the guys on it for long and gave up for a while. They are not the type of people I like to look at. Louis is always very good and he gets in some good lines. I think a problem for him now is he's so well known that anyone he speaks to is going to be on guard, especially dodgy charaters like these chuds. Though it was funny that the HS guy was all friendly at first until he got a million "don't you know who Louis Theroux is?" messages sent to him. I don't think Louis really said anything all that new here, but maybe it's more aimed at the general audience who don't know abou this manosphere nonsense (not that I'm an exper or anything.) Best part was probably when he got the one guy's girlfriend to talk and the guy was looking around worried, or when Louis snuck off to talk to that guy's female producer. It really struck me how absolutely miserable and paranoid these guys are: they're supposedly rich and successful and can have any woman they want (they say!) but they don't really seem happy at all. I liked the ending where he mad the point that they're mainly being watched by teenage boys and how scary that is (HS doing that scene with his mum seems designed to appeal to little boys, even though it kind of made him look bad.)

I think that is definitely the case. I think it did its job well enough to actually make the point that these guys are really damaging for teenage boys to be watching and that parents should probably be aware of what bullshit they are engaging with. Whether that will move the needle of not I have no idea.
