Lower Decks season five

First episode - T'Lyn will master this human concept known as "humour" yet! Without even knowing it, I knew the Blue Orions had to be a TAS thing.

...I didn't realise the second episode was out too and I've already started watching wrestling on my computer. I'll watch it tomorrow.
 
Try not to skip the credits at least once, the battle has got even more crazy now, with the addition of Vger, Apollo and Tholians.

Second episode - I guess the treasure was all unreplicable or Orions just don't have replicators.

I liked both episodes. Glad they resolved the Tendi/Orion plot sooner, rather than later.
 
So the alien with the transparent skull who Jadzia Dax dated also looked like a shark-man? She's a freak!

4th episode up, great a story, terrible b story.
 
Yeah the Klingon story was one of the best of the season (which has been pretty lightweight so far...I know it's Lower Decks but I was hoping they'd go a bit harder in the final season.) I liked that they actually had the Klingon bad guy die in the end, as that's what a Klingon woud do. B-story was shit though. I've never seen anything in the bird therapist.
 
And the return of pink blood too.
 
Not the strongest episode but still pretty good.
 
Episode 6 - Kind of weak. Didn't find the new character very funny, the orb/cube plot felt like something that would be a five second joke on Rick And Morty. I did laugh at "not cleaning up is part of our kink."
 
I liked the episode, thought it was funny. Not the strongest episode. The bit at the end in the brig was a nice call back to past seasons.
 
With four more episodes to go I reckon Boimler should have a full beard by the final episode.

Or should I say Fucko.

It's really good. It's a Choose Your Own Adventure graphic novel. The story really turns out to be more complicated than anything the actual animated show's ever done. Really takes adventage of the medium and the gimmick. It's funny too. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who likes comics written by Ryan North and the tv show Star Trek: Lower Decks but also to anyone who just thinks they might like it.
