I kind of feel like we have already had too much Maul.

They had the opportunity to release this show on May 4th and use the tagline "MAUL the fourth be with you!" and they didn't take it.

Started today, duller than tap water, stood in front of paint drying.

Even the voice of Moss can't save this.

I may have treat the first episode too harshly, I see now this is truly the first post Andor animated show that feels like it could fit in that universe, in a galaxy where the government has turned to shit, a gangster a cop, and a padawan do what they can to get by, it maybe style over substance, but that style is fucking sweet.

I liked the crime drama feeling of it, complete with a divorced dad cop, and it looked nice. I think a problem could be that most of the action scenes are just Maul effortlessly cutting through people and we're not really on his side so it can feel a bit empty. I'm sure he'll eventually fight (and kill) the Jedi and the Padawan will go over to Maul's side for a while.

I liked the little guy with the robot suit, you need someone to lighten the mood a bit.

Is this before or after Maul's appearance in Solo? Is Qi'ra going to show up?

It's not long after episode 3, I think it's post Solo as he was still in charge of crimson son then.

Pre Solo, you mean? Solo is 10 BBY (the internet seems to think this is 1 year after Episode 3 so that would be about 18 BBY.) ((I should have just looked this up in the first place.))

2 boots is an appropriate name for a character voiced by an IT guy, as it's what would happen if something was turned on, then off and on again.

He does the voice exactly like Moss a lot of the time and it's a bit distracting.

Epsidoes 3 and 4 were good too and it's escalating faster than I thought it would. We've already had the two Jedi fighting Maul and now the Empire have arrived (thanks to that fascist 2 Boots!) Will be CURIOUS to see what happens next.

The lightsaber stuff really look good, the evolution of this animation style for the last twenty years has been quite a thing.

I like when we remember that Maul has robot legs.

I like how the light sabers illuminated the scenes, I'm surprised they didn't try and put that in special editions of the OT
