I thought this was going to be about some super-PC version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or something.
 
Maybe a spider attacked him before, BECAUSE HE'S BLIND.
 
Sometimes when I'm in bed at night I think there's a spider (or worse, a moth!) on my face, but it's just a hair. Being blind it must be like that all the time.
 
Or he just wanted Rachel to hug him. That would have been my motive.
 
I predict Russell Brand will enter the house and lay hands on Mikey, who will jump around and scream I CAN SEE, I CAN SEE and then it will be revealed that he was faking it all along for some bonus prize money.

"Fans, go online now and suggest other things for Mikey to walk into!"
 
It's so disappointing that he hasn't walked into the pool yet.
 
Do the other house guests play tricks on him?
 
Mario claimed they do, but I haven't seen any evidence of it. They'd be stupid to pick on a blind guy on national tv... so I suppose it's only a matter of time.
 
It would be cool if he ran around the house screaming at all the others "YOU SIGHTISTS!"
 
He has quite a strong Scottish accent and often shouts as some sort of compensation for not being able to see people, so he could well be saying that already.
 
He's partially deaf.
 
Oh yeah, I forgot that. Mikey has TWO disabilities, open your eyes and ears!!
 
AND MOUTH.
