Movie trailers

I am constantly dumbfounded by things such as this.

Who would go and see that? I think the fact that they have made a film like this signals and end in itself. I just hope that Hollywood drowns first.
 
Maleficent seems to be something peopole on the internet are excited about but there's not much to the trailer other than "look it's Angelina Jolie."

LEGO - Am I the only one who thinks it looks a total mess? Fun, sure, but they've thrown in everything, including as many kitchen sinks as they could lay their hands on. At least Morgan Freeman's reprising his role as God, anyway.

Noah - WTF. Surely only fundy Christians would want to see it. To anyone else is it's mumbo jumbo or propaganda. But I feel like I've seen it all already, because the trailer seemed to show the whole thing.

Maleficent - The first movie title in a long while that will have people reaching for their dictionaries. I thought at first it was meant to be about the witch queen from Snow White, but I guess it's something else. Angelina Jolie does look really cool in it, I must admit.

Divergent - It's Gattaca with a female protagonist, right? But I guess the test she was failing was the Bechdel.

Maleficent was the evil queen from Sleeping Beauty apparently. Sleeping Beauty always seemed like a boring version of Snow White to me (Snow White falls asleep too!)
 
I guess that's why they only use Snow White's queen (Regina) on Once Upon A Time -- They were saving Maleficent for the big screen.

BUT THEY SURE THREW EVERY OTHER CHARACTER IN DISNEY HISTORY ON THAT TV SHOW EH?

They used Maleficent in OUAT. Season 1 in a flashback and as the dragon Emma had to face in the Season 1 finale.
 
She's played by Pam from True Blood in OUAT apparently.

Looks like Hollywood is pandering to red state Bible Belters now, because they still go to the movies, as opposed to the Commie Liberal CIty Folk on both coasts, who are more sophisticated and know how to download.
