My computer keeps crashing

We would make some serious bank if I pimped him, but there's too much competition in the hood.

It just crashed again.

When did u last run a virus/spyware/adAware scan? if they come up negative, then u could try restoring ur comp to time B4 u started having problems, by using system-restore. -located in system tools-

Yep, my computer keep crashing too the other day. But to be fair, I was playing Mario-Kart at the time, and I had loaded in a cheat to make myself invincible.

I had a cheat to make myself invisible, its known as appearing on channel 5

Someone should fucking buy me a new computer as a service to the WORLD.

I don't have much latinum but I have a little. WACKY CAN HAVE IT!!

Stop trying to rape your computer Wacky.

That port ain't for your penis!

My external backup drive for my Mac is totally fucked, it won't mount anymore.

If I can't get that data back, I and my roommate are screwed big time.
Freeze it in a zip-lock bag.
I actually did that overnight, it didn't help.

The computer recognizes that a drive is connected to the FireWire port, and even describes it in System Prefs, but it can't find a volume to mount. I'm thinking something heavy fell on it and it's mechanically busted. But it's not making any louder noises than usual.

(AcomData 160GB box, BTW. No partitions.)
Collected bump hoping that the resident Mac expert will notice and have thoughts...

If the drive is spinning still you could try and copy the data off with DD (UNIX)
