hey e! :D
Hey there!
*waves back*

I wonder what his mom did when she saw that video?

^^He probably talks like that to his mother. When he threated to blow the place up unless he got his change, the storekeeper should have called Homeland Security -- OMG! He's made a terroist threat! Another example of real life bullying.

Tyler has done his best these long months since his stroke. This past week he has deteriorated to the point that he can no longer stand and he now refuses to eat. He isn't ready to go yet and still struggles to stand up and move around. However, I am worn down after this long time and can barely pick him up and move him around. He is going to the vet's in half an hour to be euthanized. I've never done this before.

He's been my dog for over 14 years, from before he was born as his mother and father were mine too. His mother, Scoobie, died two years ago at the ripe old age of 16. His father, Tiggerman, died seven years ago at the ripe old age of 24.

He's been a good boy, a good friend, well-behaved, sweet and gentle natured. His job was to stand in the window and send a reverberating growl or bark out of the house to frighten would be intruders. He did that job well. All he really wanted to be was a tiny little thing that could fit in my pocket so I could carry him around with me wherever I went. But, he was a big boy - 180 lbs. of big - and strong. When he wanted to go for a run of the neighborhood, he'd tear down a kennel wall and step over the back fence. He was a sight to behold - a giant loping at full speed up and down the road.

Once, he and my two other dogs pulled a trick in the kennel before it had a concrete edge. They dug a hole in the back corner where it was dark, right at the edge so that most of the hole was on the outside of the kennel wall. Then, they pulled the bordering bushes on the oustide down to cover the hole on the outside. Pretty clever - those critters were getting out while I was away, but coming back in before I got home, sitting on the furniture pretty as you please as if butter wouldn't melt in their mouths. My neighbor told me he saw them running loose, though, and my neighbor doesn't make up stupid stories like that. I found their hole, filled it in and put in a concrete base so they couldn't dig out again - which is why the big dog took to tearing down the kennel wall later on. Someone remarked that dogs aren't that smart. I had to remind them that those three had nothing to do all day but contemplate for years that little escape activity.

I don't usually do the eulogy of a passing friend until after they have passed. I don't think I will be able to do it later though. I will miss him for the dog he has been all his life - strong, dedicated, full of heart, and a true friend.

I am thinking that your dog is passing right around now. In any event, I am about to do a prayer meditation for your wonderful beast.

May he rest in peace, and may your grief be short.

Thank you, Jack.

He was a faithful champion and true protector.

May loving memories of Tyler bring you peace.

My deepest sympathy......

What a great story.

Your post made me wake up to the pleasure that my dog is still alive and very happy and vital, and for that I thank you deeply, dear heart.

Man's best friend, indeed.

I still meant what I said about her dog passing, and what her story did for me with my dog.

The rest of it is interesting to read since the revealing.

You need a new moral compass, it would appear

I have a new Android phone with loads of fancy sensors on it. Maybe one of them is a moral compass. Will investigate and report back.

Great Necro NEG btw.
