This is a remake of a British show (that I haven't watched) and I like Rose McIver but I don't know could be bad or good who knows.

Okay I'm not going to pretend I was a huge Gossip Girl fan, but as I recall the original seemed more self aware than this? Like it knew it was about horrible people and played with that in funny ways? Whereas this one, just from this two minute trailer, appears to be playing the whole thing straight and that just doesn't seem as appealing?

And where's the Georgina type!

Fresh Prince was a comedy. Why remake it when this is clearly going for drama? There wasn't a single joke in the entire trailer. WHAT'S THE POINT.
