Lots of interesting stuff in there. I know obviously it's just a promo and not a scene from the actual show, but I think we can tell stuff about the characters from it.

The hot woman dances with the two alpha guys and they have a kind of face off over her. I'm sure that'll be a theme!

The Korean woman also dances with both the Korean guy (her husband?) and the black guy. Could be an affair!

What's with the Hobbit looking guy crazy dancing? I bet he's on drugs or something.

Interesting that the bald guy is "conducting" the whole thing. Did he cause the plane crash? And he's going to turn the black kid into his apprentice?

The blonde girl sitting by the engine is intriguing. I bet she's dangerous in some way.

The fat guy just looks confused. He'll surely lose weight on that island.

Looks like a show with lots of mysteries and I hope they get resolved in a satisfying way! Looking forward to it.

Under the Dome is an adaptation of a Stephen King book. I really like his books, but the tv/movie adaptations usually suck. This isn't the official trailer, that one seems to have disappeared and when it was up it was blocked outside the US anyway. :rwmad: I think this will just be a summer show, 13 episodes and then done. I MIGHT WATCH THIS.

This show starts tonight. It's on right after Drunk History, which I love, and only lasts 30 minutes so I will probably watch if for a few minutes. It will probably suck. I thought it was going to just be about people who cosplay but NOOOOOO SYFY had to make it a fucking competition. I'm sure it will be filled with stupid drama instead of focusing on how creative some of those cosplayers can be.
 
Did any of them dress up in the first version of the female Starfleet uniform as seen in The Cage and Where No Man Has Gone Before?

That's all I care about, really.
 
The costumes were more over the top than that... but if the show had been about these people making their costumes I probably would have liked it, but it was about costume competitions at cons and all the crying and drama that happens.
 
PROBABLY? I only watched it for a minute. Most of the costumes I saw featured chesty young girls.
