Olympics opening ceremony

All the running stuff seems to be on in the middle of the night for me but I'm assured that some people ran very fast.

I watched a Cuban beat an American at boxing yetsterday. That must have hurt!

Why do the runners always slow down right before they cross the line? Surely they should run as fast as possible the whole way to get the fastest time? Obviously I'm smarter than them.
 
The Cuban guy winning either won't be shown on NBC, or the American loser will be interviewed instead of him.

And now Rio gets to watch its newly built Olympic city slowly crumble into unadaptable, unused decay.
