I'm not a christian and I do not go to church.

There was only ever one christian and he died on the cross.

Yes, I believe so. I didn't stop believing in God and suddenly become evil and more sinful just because I stopped going to church.

Some people do need fellowship with like minded people on a regular basis to reaffirm their faith.

Testament to the value, effectiveness and longevity of faith.

Faith requires the absence of reason. Reason requires the absence of faith.

You can't have one with the other. Not in a final rendering. Which is why I stay away from church and the faithful. I'm just not willing to spend any amount of my precious (to me) time with people who regularly reaffirm their rejection of reason.

No offense meant. You did say 'some people' so I hope you don't receive this as a shot across your bow.
