Prayers Needed, My Friends...

Note : My earlier post was a reference (or, dare I say, plagiarism) to the dialogue between Gandalf and Pippin, at the zenith of the Orcish invasion. The white city is almost lost, Pippin believes it is the end for him.

Needless to say, he ends up surviving, kicking ass and taking names. Just wanted to clarify this point because my post stirred some negative reaction, while its intentions were noble.
 
Wow... posting something like that at a kingdom full of Trolls?! You've got balls Friday. But of course if anyone tried trolling you because of that I'm sure we'd all neg 'em into oblivion.

I took it as a backwards way of saying I'm being silly for being so pessimistic, which would be absolutely correct.

I like the actual intent a lot better, tho. Thank you. :)

I hope things come out well for you. You are in my thoughts.
Just remember that Dr's are the biggest Drama queens with suck ass bed side manners. :)
After last years Drama with the damn Doctors, ER's and stuff I have decided to live my life and stay away from them this year.. (tiss why I have not been here very much)

Just remember to write down what ever questions you have for them and do not let them leave the room till you feel there is nothing else to ask..

Well, they scheduled me for a different, less invasive procedure yesterday, as a pre-cursor to the ERCP.

Evidently, what they thought was a tumor, polyp, whatever you want to call it, is in actuality a congenital anomaly of my bile duct. It has a little "lip" at the end. When I had my gall bladder taken out due to gallstones, the gallstones somehow managed to irritate this lip, which turned it into a catch for bile. It would accumulate and back-up the bile in my body, causing my symptoms.

The actual ERCP is re-scheduled for a couple of weeks, and with a few snips, my problem should be gone forever.

What a frickin' relief! I still have some pain, but knowing exactly what the problem is, and that it is 100% treatable, is like getting a second chance at life.

Thank you everyone, for your prayers. I am convinced they attributed to this good news. :)
 
Hm.

I wonder if prayers can time-travel. Because I didn't manage to put in a good word until over a week after the good news.

Well, still... I'll continue to keep you in my prayers. Anytime they open you up to take shit out of you there is some risk. But good to hear that it is fairly straightforward. :techman:
