Unluckiest Charm in the Box
Heres one that I've found being sold locally. Its a 96 Yamaha Virago 535cc
The seller wants $1000 FIRM for it. Heres a description..
I e-mailed this guy asking were there any unlisted issues that I should know about this bike, and if I came over with a new battery and dropped it in, could I simply hop on and ride away without any issues? This is his response..
Soo...what do you all think? Is it worth taking a chance on?

Good condition motorcycle, can easily be turned into a bobber or just left as is. it is currently not running due to a bad battery but it was still running in October 2010. I have clean title in hand. Price is firm due to info below.
i had the Carbs cleaned and a new slide (90.00) was purchased for the carbs also a new fuel valve(300.00) was also purchased for better fuel flow and installed by motorcycle mechanic. The bike is in decent condition for the year. I purchased this season n planned on purchasing new shocks and painting black but i purchased a new motorcycle. So I am selling this one @ a cheaper price. Recent mechanical work total close to 700.00.

Yeah could try that. I purchased it like in July of 2010 n when I bought it I had to get carbs rebuilt. At the shop they told me I needed a new slider for the carbs n that was 80.00 then they told me the gas was flowing to the carbs cause the prev. Owner let it sitting for too long. So it was a new petcock n some other stuff for fuel line. Was an extra 300.00 for the part. They took 8wks to fix it so I ended up buying a yamaha vstar classic n then a week later they gaved me the virago. It was running fine I was using both bikes. Then 1 day I tried to start it up n it won't start. It makes a clicking noise. I was told by the mechanics it was the battery. But they told me this over the phone. So I'm sorry for the long story but just want u to know all the details. Ur more than welcome to come n try it out. Just let me know.
