Michelle Trachtenberg And Mary Lynn Rajskub Tapped For CBS Comedy Pilots
By NELLIE ANDREEVA | Friday March 18, 2011 @ 5:58pm PDT

Two actresses best known for their drama series turns, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Gossip Girl alumna Michelle Trachtenberg and former 24 co-star Mary Lynn Rajskub, have joined comedy pilots, both at CBS.

Trachtenberg has been cast as the female lead in CBS' untitled Peter Knight comedy pilot. The project, from Sony and Happy Madison, is a workplace ensemble revolving around the young-adult employees at a high-powered venture capital firm. It centers on Danny, who is shocked when his crush, competitor and fellow trainee Gracie (Trachtenberg) is promoted out of the mailroom and into a junior associate position at the firm. Also cast in the pilot is Tim Peper (Carpoolers) as Danny's obnoxiously lovable best friend. Trachtenberg, repped by UTA and Framework, also starred on the NBC drama Mercy.

Rajskub has joined CBS' comedy pilot How to Be a Gentleman. The CBS Studios/MRC project, which David Hornsby wrote based on the book of the same name, is a buddy comedy about Alan (Hornsby), an uptight guy who is learning to live his life with the help of his old high school classmate Bert (Kevin Dillon). Rajskub will play Alan's sister Janet, an aggressive, no-BS successful lawyer who runs roughshod over her meek but loving husband. Rajskub recently did guest spots on two comedy series, ABC's Modern Family and Fox's Raising Hope.
Fingers crossed!

2011 will be the year of the Trachtenberg.

What happened to Untitled Michelle Trachtenberg Crime Drama?

As far as I know it's still in development.

(Basically anyone who has ever been on a TV show is filming a pilot right now, hoping that some network picks it up later this year)

Well if she's got two that's TWICE the chance, by my maths!

ARTIFICIAL PALENESS IS CHEATING, SURELY.

It only enhances the already naturally present paleness (of which there is a lot)!

Michelle and Seth Green are now working with Katee Sackhoff on a new film called "Sexy Evil Genius".

The first day of filming was today and Seph has been tweeting some pictures.

With Michelle.

(that's why I'm posting them in this thread)

Okay? Okay.

THEY'RE OBVIOUSLY HAVING AN AFFAIR ZOMG

NOW I CAN RUN AROUND SAYING THAT BECAUSE I CAN SAY 'I READ IT ON THE INTERNET!!!"

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaltenberg?

RIGHT OUT OF MY HANDS.
