If you're referring to me referring to Shal's post, kind of both? ;)

I guess I see where both sides are coming from in this, and I didn't find that particular post of Shal's on her LJ to be angering, at least from a perspective of her talking about board politics. I found it pretty respectful, actually, on a professional level. ;)

I don't really make sense much in this case, but I get what happened and don't really care. IMO, the two philosophies of moderation are so diverging in EI's case that better to go with the majority, which clearly was everyone but 2-3 of the moderators.
 
'philosophies of moderation' .? let me guess, Shal/Corwin's philosophy was a little to the right of Hitleresque, while LoP's is a bit left of Stalinist?

Agreed. That was why I reacted as I did. I read that post of his in Shal's thread, and it struck me as a case of "I'm taking my toys and stomping out of here!"

I didn't trust Shal (but am biting my tongue so as not to offend her buddies), and didn't have much of an opinion of Corwin, but at least Shal chose to be gracious, and Corwin... didn't.

It should have been a clean break between the two ownerships and philosophies, but it's too late for that now.

I would suggest that quite a few people not giving a flying fuck tends to restrict the volume somewhat. If you feel it would reflect on your perceived importance of EI over here, I can open a dozen threads on the exact same subject?
 
Everything you see here is fake. Nearly all of us are missmanners' duals as it is.
