Severance

So is the "brother" actually just Kier's other side and they're kind of recreating that with the severance process or something?
 
I don't know! It seems like they made all that up at the last minute so that they can finish the project. Since Helena thought it was all hilarious, that makes me think she never even heard the story before.
 
2.5 - Fell too short, even though it was probably normal length. They should have two hour episodes.

Iriving's fruit head was fucking creepy.

It's good that the real Helly is back and now you notice how she was being played differently in the first four episodes.

Milchick showing a more human side is cool and ruins those theories about him being a goat that Lumon grew into a man or whatever.

I hope Ricken really does sneak subversive material into his corporate book but I'm beginning to doubt it!

Dylan put the directions back behind the poster, will he be able to find the way there? lol Maybe he has total recall.
 
So Burt is obviously a long time Lumon employee who can't be trusted.

I'm please Mark's reintegration finally seems to have happened (though I guess Innie mark might still not remember everything.)

The tent sex was cute.
 
Helena tracking Mark down in a restaurant was weird. I think she is in love with him.

So Burt had a Lumen partner 20 years ago. I don't know who that was looking at paperwork, and I tried to read the names but it was too fast. I SHOULD HAVE PAUSED IT. I'm sure some reviewer is looking at it through a fork.
 
2.7 - We finally got the Gemma-centric episode we've been waiting for and it was great. Dichen Lachman is really good and I felt so bad for Gemma throughout. They took Lumon's evil to new extremes and I legit found it hard to watch at times.

And next week Cobel will finally do something!

Dichen Lachman is great. WHAT ARE THEY DOING TO HER? I hope Mark finds her.

Robby Benson is super creepy! Haven't seen him in years. I guess he's trying to have a romance with one of the severed Gemmas, or something.
 
2.8 - I suspected it would be a Cobel-only episode, but sadly it was nowhere near as good as last week's Gemmasode. Just felt like not much happened? Cobel being the one who invented severance is definitely interesting and she's good at angry acting. But it was too short and didn't feel like a full episode.
 
Paint, I think. Most paint huffers are too brain damaged to function after awhile. Oh, and gas too. They were huffing something from the Lumen factory.
