Should lazy use of the phrase "you either love it or hate it!" be banned?

Saying something is the "most unique" when surely something is either unique or it isn't and there are no degrees of uniqueness.
 
WTF did it have to do with those people? The car was parked where no one (except the pervy self righteous curtain twitching cameraman) could see it!
 
The guy who gets caught is WAY too meek. No arguing back, he just sits there and listens to John.tv's self-rightseous rant for five minutes! I'd have smashed the camera and given John and the hooker a double Stunner.
 
You people... (said with a kind of paternal sigh, giving the phrase some sort of portent that DOESNT ACTUALLY EXIST!!!)

People who replace the word is with the word like (or use the word like continually) - they should be sterilised, or maybe just like maimed in some like way.

People who complain about overused phrases with some sort of smug self satisfaction - they should just be shot.
