Socialism advocated in Public Schools...

It's so good to hear from someone who knows what he is talking about. You get it so rarely on the internet these days. Obviously you have a great deal of frist hand knowledge of this club, this teacher, and these students. You should definitely expand your audience by becoming more involved in the anti socialist movement.

I don't need first hand knowledge of this one particular teacher, his club or his students. I do have first hand experience with his strategy, and a thorough understanding of it.

If one understands a principle thoroughly, the ability to predict its execution in a broad range of scenarios is enhanced by observation, but not strictly dependent upon it.

Preach on, brother. Errr, I mean, Speak the truth, comrade!

A yes. I can see that you have a great deal of both knowledge and intellect. You are so brilliant in fact, that you don't need to use evidence to support your "arguments". Good on you I say. You will go far in life.

Your mother rides nigger cock for her breakfast money.

Wait, were we having an "irrelevant ad hominem" contest? Or was that just you?

You should know, before this goes any further, that I'm better at this than you are. I've been doing it longer than you have, with greater skill and subtlety than you'll ever possess. Put down "Rules For Radicals" and give up now, before I embarrass you, your cause and your methods.

Oh no you can join in just as soon as you have some evidence to support your argument. As it is, you are just snearing and smearing and acting like a typical internet know nothing. Much like Beck or Limbaugh, you seem to believe that people will listen to your hints and allegations and fall in line behind you. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case, does it? You don't have one iota of proof that the drivel you are spouting is anythig but...drivel.

Really? Let's examine the claim I've made so far:

A principle remains true across a broad variety of scenarios in which it is applicable.

That's a truism -- in other words, it doesn't require evidence, because every instance in which it is applied is evidence of its validity.

So provide an example of a principle failing to hold true in a scenario which bears predominant similarity to its validated original scenario. For example, show a case in which 1 + 1 does not equal 2.

You are assuimng that you know his strategy, his teaching methods, and his goals. In short, you are full of shit.

Really. Well, then, why don't you propose some intended end results of establishing a socialist club for high school students, and his strategy for convincing high school students that socialism is something for which a club should be established.

Go ahead, I'm sure I'm not the only one who's looking forward to a display of creativity from you on that.

you are making a mistake. You are assumning that a teacher proposed and created a socialism club. However it is quite possible for a group of students to decide to start a club under the auspices of the school at which point a teacher has to either step forward or be appointed to assume responsiblity for the club's actions ie to make sure the kids don't burn the school down.

How do I kow this? I started a club in high school and the teacher who was in charge of my club both didn't like the club. He was forced to do it.

I told you once already, you cheap, lousy flim-flam artist: I'm better at this than you are. You CANNOT win in a confrontation with me.

eh heh. You're full of shit and so you call me a flim flam artist and once again fail to show support for your claims. Yes yes. You have years of experience at bullshitting on the internet and thus don't need to actually support your claims. I understand now.

You actually understand little or nothing. What you are doing is attempting to enact Alinsky's 5th rule for radicals. I'm not impressed.

no no. really I undestand now. Your years of internet experience have shorn you of the need to support evidence for your claims. Good on you.

 at this neanderthal trying to get the better of TS. Never gonna happen.

Anyhoo, I've done some more digging. According to RateMyTeachers, his students *love* him, and consider his class easy (impossible to fail, even).

He seems like one of those teachers who are their students' "friend", and demand very little in the way of actual work from them. He's academically lazy.

As for a socialism club in high school, the very fact that the administration approved it, and the school board and parents have no problem with it, speaks volumes, regardless of the teacher's position on the topic (which is suspect, no matter what Neanderthal Ned wants to believe).
