Some of the women of TK have voted for me...

Emergency Administration Hologram? :D

Didn't we used to have an EAH? I remember when I was Admin there was an admin that wasn't really a poster and everyone was all "Oh that's just the EAH".

Oh, DUH! We've been talking so much Trek the past week I didn't make the LoNAF connection.

Plus I've been watching VOY on Spike lately. More than I thought I would.

Voyager sucks you in and when you least expect it WHAM Janeway gets you with her bun o' steel.

We do have an EAH at Lonny. I've seen it post and people confused it for emh_mk1. Then the King of Parts deactivated it.

Sort of like the Assistant Secretary of Agriculture shall assume the Presidency, once the 27 people ahead of him in the Line of Succession die in office. ;)

Hey, all we need is a Cylon invasion.

No, it somehow seems better now...probably has something to do with the fact that it's all that's left.

VOY had its good points. I didn't really start trashing it outright till season 7, IIRC.

I don't like watching season 1 of Voyager. The episodes are really quite good and it's painful to know in hindsight that all the promises those early episodes hold were never fulfilled in the later seasons. The producers had this amazing ability to avoid whatever option would be most exciting, dramatic or credible and just stick with stale, "safe" clichés. :(

True, but they weren't all shitpiles.

My rejection of ENT, and the reality that this era of Trek TV is truly dead, has softened me toward the back catalog, I guess. I'll still skip the crap episodes, but I'll check the first 10 minutes of them more often now just in case there was something I missed the first time...

I missed Voyager in its original run, and caught them all in reruns late at night. Maybe that is why I enjoyed them.. crappy eps and all. I was sleepy and Trek deprived!

I've been trying to catch the occasional Enterprise episode but I just can't get into the spirit of it. I did watch a lot of them before it was canceled and thought they weren't too bad.. but now they just seem kinda hokey, or boring or something. I did like the episode where T'Pol told the story of her grandmother crashing on earth before the official first contact.

And if CuriousA2Z had just voted for me in the admin race......

I'd have won by one more vote!

Yay for very close calls!

As we post in the Star Trek Picard thread in 2023...
