Technically it doesn't violate continuity because the Talos incident happened a few years beforehand. But they sure like digging into the well to find things they think they can elaborate or improve upon. Protip: They can't.

I’d prefer they explored strange new worlds instead of old ones. How many did they visit in season one? I think it was just the planet with the crystals.
