Fifth episode was great, probably the best yet. Just so much fun with an irritated pirate baby-sitting kids, Kelly MacDonald as a Scottish bounty hunter, a Hutt eating a little guy (who says "not again!" implying he's been eaten and shat out before!?) and more! Wim turning the lightsaber on the wrong way made me lol. So Jod was definitely a Padawan because he talked about "attachments" like a Jedi. HE BETTER TURN GOOD AND SAVE THE KIDS, THE BASTARD.

Maybe the people we saw him murder in the first episode were all paedos.
Wacky suggested this to me (I did have an inkling about checking it out on my own, but it's me, so there is a good chance I would have let it slip through the cracks) and I quite enjoyed this. I won't pretend I didn't have my eyebrow up a few times in the first half of the first episode. Was worried that it felt like a completely incongruent idea with a Star Wars skin on top of it, but it started to pick up, and I thought it was all quite well done by the end and when you have rich lore filled worlds to explore why not do something different in it? It was one of my biggest gripes about the sequels (but let's not get into that) so on some reflection I don't mind this being very tonally different.

All the stuff in the first episode setting up the planet is important and will pay off later (and I say that with there only being 5 of the 8 episodes released.)

My friend and I are loving this show. Personally, as a fan of The Goonies, I feel like this is a perfect mash-up of The Goonies and Star Wars. It's just a fun Pirate adventure set in the Star Wars universe. Not everything has to be all DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA GALACTIC CIVIL WAR LIGHTSABER SITH JEDI PODRACER INCEST X-WING in Star Wars.

Nice sweet episode with the kids becoming a proper team. When Wim said "you can be friends with me and Neel!" that hit the feelings.
Maybe the giant crab was actually going to help them and they shouldn't have assumed it was bad.
