Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Its the B sharps of trailers, great the first time, then less great with each subsequent viewing.

The Thor: Ragnarok trailer has ruined all other trailers forever.

(Of course the next Last Jedi trailer will probably show a lot more in the way of action and locations ad hopefully cool aliens and robots.)

It would be intersting to watch the first ep 7 trailer and this one simulataneously to see how well the timings match up, jump scare start, Rey character moment, Poe and BB8 with an X wing exploding, space/air battle, the falcon, Luke voice over.

But like you said, I would probably have enjoyed it a lot more if the Thor Ragnarok trailer was yet to come out.

The Rogue One trailers were better, too. But it's only a teaser. I'm glad at least this doesn't give any of the plot away.

They've said they're shifting all star warses to may, which means that han solo comes out three weeks after infinity war and episode ix comes out three weeks after infinity gauntlet but

it doesn't look like disney has anything scheded for december now so???

idk

Maybe December is when they'll release all their live action remakes of classic animations that don't need live action remakes and really how is The Lion King live action when it's entirely cgi? That's just a different style of animation. Infact, come to think of it, the original Lion King used a bunch of cgi already. The stampede sequence had cgi wildebeest and crowd simulation because no one could hand draw it.

Same goes for the ballroom dancing scene in the animated Beauty and the Beast, or any scene where the camera did a 360 around the characters.

oh, yeah, they've got this in the next decembers:
Tues 12/25/18 MARY POPPINS RETURNS
12/20/19 UNTITLED DISNEY FAIRY TALE (Live Action)

which, eeeh? these don't seem like four quadrant films.

The "live action" Jungle Book was pretty good, TO BE FAIR (though it changed things from the original whereas Beauty And The Beast seems to be straight remake that even Angela Lansbury didn't understand.)
