Yep. The thing is he was right in what he said, with no malice intended. The times were changing and even though I was only about 10 I knew that. Don't you remember those days, Jack? You are a little older than me but not by much. What was your take on the early to mid 60's?

Oh I remember. I saw the Beatles in 1964 at Boston Garden and things never were the same for me after that. Couldn't really hear much with all the screaming, and live audio back then left much to be desired, but still, it was them

Growing up in the 60's was fun. What I remember most is all the things that were beginning (especially in music) back then went on to become the standard. In Kenmore Square, the Boston Tea Party setup shop and pretty much everyone stopped by there to do a few sets. I got to experience almost everyone that was playing live at the time as a result....and it was so different...Jimi in a small venue was RIDICULOUS, Joplin was phenonemal, Grateful Dead were already doing extended jams and it was Airplane in those days, not Starship. Duane Allman was terrific. Fun times.

Then there was Fenway Park...back then, for a dime you could ride the T back and forth to the stadium, get a bleacher seat for the game (50 cents) and still have enough left over for some baseball snacks. More fun times.

I'd say 63-69 were the best years of my young life, tbh.
