EI was formed because SSBBS went down after it was revealed the admin and mods were being pretty heavy handed.
So, at EI they wanted "transparency and fairness." That's why they were slow to sanction and actually had a no-ban policy.
Jen and I were the first bans on that board. We actually set out to do that.
I think it's ironic that their main admin was Javert Rovinski... who had been one of the shitty mods on SSBBS. I'd point that out, and no one seemed to care.
That backs up my personal theory that most people are little better than dumb animals.
